Güntar von Keitz is German. In fact, he's technically a baron and descended from a great and noble family--though a 'fiscally-challenged' one of portable estate. For this reason, he (mis)spent much of his youth trying to increase his household income (and prestige) through various ventures that always seemed to involve fighting. He grew to love such a wandering lifestyle and has traveled and fought throughout Europe for variety of causes and warlords.

The last and only time Güntar was previously in a unit was the mid-80s as a member of the infamous Apollians (now all Tuchux--if that means anything to you). After merc'ing for almost 17 years, Güntar and Auric talked about forming a Viking warband in the summer of 2002 and the rest is history...

A pure sword-and-board fighter until 2000, GvK has since taken up archery, greatsword, glaive, spear, etc.
